We all have learned to walk through this world with a certain degree of guardedness and protection. Through a safe and gradual process, I assist people in letting down the walls that we formed to protect us. I have found that when our masks start to come off, we can form more authentic and real connections with others. You can safely begin to open, become vulnerable, and get in touch with what you desire. Together, we discover how you can live in a more authentic way in your life. Freedom and happiness are attainable in this world!
My style of work, which is highly interactive, focuses on in the moment exchanges in order to disrupt habitual thinking/behavioral/emotional patterns that hold you back from living a free life. This freedom, once accessed, allows us to connect to ourselves and others in a new way. By gently pushing past your comfort zones, you begin to live the realm of possibilities and begin to ask yourself the question “What else is possible?”
My practice is informed by various traditional psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment theory, and mindfulness strategies. In addition, I have studied extensively AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy), somatic approaches, and yogic philosophy. I welcome all folks including those from diverse backgrounds – LGBTQ+, all ethnic and racial identities, all gender identities, all religious beliefs or non beliefs, ages 18+, and all levels of ability.
