I am extremely passionate about helping women, adolescents and couples forgive and let go of past hurts, failures, trauma, and self-defeating behaviors. I have a passion for helping women heal and deal with some of the toughest realities of life. While my innermost passion is women, I am fully equipped to offer solution-based therapy to individuals from all walks of life. I believe we must normalize mental health and learn to work through trauma, stress, anxiety, unforgiveness, peer pressure, divorce, co-parenting, anger, self-esteem, identity, and any other struggles that we cannot face on our own.

Too often, we feel we can't connect to our lives as we'd like to - anxiety, low mood, and hurts from the past can block our enjoyment of experiences and people. We can achieve so much, but still feel unsure of ourselves or wish that we could feel more grounded, more joyful, more present in the moment. We definitely benefit from talks with friends, reading, podcasts, and all the ways in which we can learn - but I believe there's no substitute for a great relationship with a therapist. If you haven't tried therapy, or tried and not clicked with the therapist, I hope you'll try or try again!

Anger has started to cost you peace, relationships, opportunities. You don’t want to keep reacting the same way, but you’re not sure how to change it. You want to feel heard without raising your voice, respected without conflict, and calm without losing control. I work with you to uncover what’s beneath the surface and help you build practical tools that support healthier, more stable responses.

Sometimes the demands of daily life begin to feel overwhelming. Anxiety increases, your mood seems harder to manage, sleep becomes disrupted, eating patterns become irregular, and family responsibilities feel louder and more demanding. Your mind may feel like it never truly shuts off. Focusing becomes difficult, distractions come easily, and even simple tasks can feel exhausting. You may be functioning on the outside while internally feeling restless, overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or simply ready for some relief.

Are you struggling with the pressure of your daily life? You likely have strategies and skills that have helped for a long time, but at some point those strategies aren’t enough and just getting through the day can become a challenge. Maybe you have been through a difficult or traumatic experience that has changed how you see yourself and the world around you. Maybe you are feeling more anger, fear, sadness, and worry and less joy and contentment.

In Aesop’s fable, The Oak and The Reeds, the oak tree brags to the reeds that he is mighty and strong and can endure much more than the reeds ever could. At the end of the fable, the massive oak tree has fallen over in the hurricane while the little reeds were able to stand up, as they were able to bend in the storm and not break as the oak tree did. Therapy can teach us how to manage life’s storms so we survive just as the little reeds did. Life is full of challenges and we all experience mental health concerns for many reasons, including grief, illness, and even just the challenges of living in today's complicated world.
