The decision to begin/return to therapy can be complicated. Some believe they should be able to "fix" problems independently, and place undue blame on themselves for being stuck in cycles of depression/anxiety, disordered eating, malfunctioning relationships, self-harm, etc. Through my work as a Clinical Psychologist, I've come to believe that it takes courage to recognize that aspects of one's life aren't working, and to seek support in making positive changes. During therapy, I work with clients to identify areas of life they'd like to change, and together, we explore past experiences that may have contributed to current struggles.

You are exhausted from constant self-doubt and feelings of inadequacy. Past painful experiences have cast shadows over your inner world. Unresolved wounds—whether from childhood trauma, difficult relationships, or betrayal—have shaped your self-perception and relationships. You're ready to break free from perfectionism, people-pleasing, or achievement-driven compensation for shame and self-blame. Through brainspotting and psychoanalysis, we can connect your body, brain, and psyche to address stuck points in your inner experience and navigate your social, cultural, and familial landscapes toward healing.

Maya Angelou once said, "There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you." I believe that each person has a story to tell and I am someone who genuinely wants to know yours. My passion is to deeply connect with each person I come in to contact with and be present with them in that moment. I seek to understand people from all different socio-economic, cultural, racial/ethnic, and spiritual backgrounds. I strive to make an impact on this world for and with the marginalized population. Healing is coming back to ourselves and breaking free from the conditioning and beliefs that limit us. It's a journey of empowerment.

We all have relationship challenges, stressors, and losses. Many times this does not equate to illness or necessitate a diagnosis. My goal is to promote total well-being, prevent further distress, and maintain health and happiness. I partner with adults who need to hit the "refresh" button, get support, and create new ways of looking at themselves and the world. I aim to eliminate stigma by referring to my approach as self-care & growth. I help people to let the past go, the future be as it may, and to step into the present moment fully. You can embrace your unique self, highlight your strengths, find healing, and feel empowered!
