I am a trained Hypnotherapist, and have been Certified in Trauma, and Grief and loss. I use a variety of approaches to help clients resolve areas of concern and embrace their new and better future.

I am a Certified Complex Trauma Professional Level II and have extensive experience working with individuals dealing with trauma and related symptoms. I am real/down to earth and easy to talk to. In session, I foster an environment that is sensitive to clients'/parents' needs. Clients are encouraged to openly express thoughts/feelings so that we can focus on setting goals, identifying feelings and patterns, developing healthy/positive attitudes and behaviors, and problem solving. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Art Therapist (ATR) who works with children, adolescents, and adults. Words are often not enough to articulate and make sense of difficult experiences and emotions. Through the process of art therapy, I help individuals gain insight, increase mindfulness, and move towards healing.

Dr. Huebner's approach is collaborative and experiential. She believes that clients have an innate ability to heal and strives to meet them where they are in a non-pathologizing way. She is certified as an Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist and has completed advanced training in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFT) as well as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), all empirically validated treatment approaches for adult individuals and couples. She has also received additional training in mindfulness practice and interpersonal neurobiology, both of which she draws upon to inform her clinical practice.
