I am a licensed psychotherapist, holding a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work and Level I Certification in Advanced Trauma Treatment. With over 18 years of experience, I counsel persons struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, histories of abandonment and abuse, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My approach deepens personal understanding and provides a broader perspective offering freedom from self-limiting thoughts and behavioral patterns. In my private practice, I help clients relieve emotional distress, achieve their desired goals, and move toward creating healthy, enduring relationships.
I work primarily with adults in individual and couples therapy, in either short- or long-term treatment. Although I am pleased to provide brief therapy, my work tends toward longer durations, and integrates mindfulness-based practices to allow for more comprehensive healing and recovery from intractable problems.
Those whom I work with feel comfortable confiding in me and testify that our work together often generates relief and improvement of their symptoms.
