When this occurs in your life, you need support with getting back to the best version of you. You want to talk to someone you can trust, be vulnerable with, and who will listen to you.

I provide teletherapy for kids, teens, and families across Colorado and Maryland. My approach is trauma-informed, affirming, and collaborative—we will move at your (or your child’s) pace, focusing on what feels safe and achievable. I integrate evidence-based methods like CBT, DBT, and person-centered approaches, weaving in mindfulness, self-compassion, and creative expression when it fits your needs. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership. My clients often tell me they appreciate my calm, grounded energy and the sense that they can “just be themselves” without fear of judgement.

It is time for you to be empowered, time for you to leave your worries at the door, time to create a safe space to process your stressors, and redefine your feelings/thoughts/distress. I have been a therapist for over 10 years and believe that therapy is a team approach. You have the voice to work together to create your own new path. Each person is unique and the therapeutic approach should be that way as well. I do not believe in therapy being a "one shoe fits all" approach and as a result I am more of an eclectic therapist.

As a woman who has experienced all of these things, I discovered the best version of myself sitting anxiously in the client’s seat of my therapist’s office. It was one of the most difficult things I'd ever done. But doing so has been the most uncomfortable and equally rewarding thing I’ve ever done for myself- because therapy, if you stick with it and do the work, is the gift that keeps o

I received my Bachelors degree in Government & Politics, then worked as a mobile dog groomer for many years and then finally got my Masters degree in Pastoral Counseling which just means I am a regular counselor, but see value in a client's religious/spiritual faith, if they have one, in bringing more tools to the table in order to help them work on issues they have. However, I have worked with plenty of clients who are atheist, searching or do not wish to bring their religion/spirituality into the counseling realm.
