Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with almost 20 years of experience in the mental wellness field. I work with children, adolescents, adults and families struggling with a variety of circumstances including anxiety, depression, life stress, parenting, trauma, and adjustment challenges. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet each client's specific needs and concerns. I also provide two specialized treatments: SPACE and EMDR.
SPACE is an evidence-based program developed at Yale to treat children and adolescents with anxiety, OCD and related challenges. This structured, parent-focused program empowers clients through a collaborative, step-by-step approach to help children increase their ability to handle anxiety, build resilience, and restore balance to the family.
EMDR is a highly effective, neuroscience-based therapy that leverages the brain’s natural ability to heal. By helping reprocess difficult experiences, EMDR reduces distress and creates lasting, meaningful change. To learn more about how this approach works, visit the EMDRIA website.
