Therapists in 20008
Choosing a therapist can be a daunting task, often undertaken at a time when one is feeling less than powerful. I offer a free phone consultation to potential clients, during which we'll get to know a little bit about each other, and I can answer any questions about the therapeutic process, including scheduling and fees. In my practice, I make use of a variety of theoretical frameworks to help understand and address your symptoms. I employ elements of cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, psychodynamic, art and music therapies, but my focus is always on you as a whole person, understood in the context of your environment.

Many of my clients are deep thinkers and feelers who need a safe, supportive space to process what they’ve been through and explore what’s next.

Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to pursue a career that would make a difference in people’s lives. This interest led me to study psychological science, social work, and social justice. I care deeply about human rights, cultural humility, and the integration of anti-oppressive practices. As a LCSW, I am committed to the well-being of my clients and strive to cater to their holistic needs. I have worked with clients regarding various experiences, including: anxiety, depression, stress, complex trauma, oppression, relationships and intimacy, relationships with the body, sexual assault and domestic violence, and LGBTQ+ dynamics.

I only offer video therapy sessions. Text me at 410-804-1934 to be added as a client. II have expertise in the integration of Eastern and Western psychotherapies with modern psychodynamic principles, Non-Dual approaches, and contemplative and meditative practices. This approach encompasses a holistic approach. It is my experience that a persons deeper beliefs (what I call Meta-principles) determine life experiences. It is my belief and practice that we are more than our limited thinking minds.

At Aeris Counseling, I see therapy as a space shaped by change — much like clouds in the sky. Clouds remind me that life is layered, ever-shifting, and always moving toward new forms. In the same way, I believe therapy offers room to hold what feels heavy, to notice what is transforming, and to discover new ways of being.
You may be carrying grief, navigating cultural transitions, adjusting to family dynamics, living with chronic pain, or facing fertility and postpartum challenges. The first step into therapy is often the hardest — it doesn’t require clarity, just openness. And by being here, you’ve already begun.
