With one unexpected life event can come a flood of unforeseen changes and decisions. This is a familiar experience for family members of distant loved ones managing a loss to their former abilities and independence.

Sometimes, we find ourselves stuck—repeating the same patterns or dwelling on “what ifs” that keep us from fully experiencing life. If you’re feeling trapped in past experiences or anxious about the future, therapy can help you find clarity and a path forward.
I believe in creating a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes. While we can’t change the past, we can work together to understand its impact, process emotions, and develop strategies that align with your personal goals.

One of the initial reasons I wanted to specialize in working with people with OCD is that there are effective, evidence-based treatments for the disorder. This meant I knew I would be working with people who truly had the opportunity to have relief and freedom from their OCD. After working with this population for years I can truly say I feel lucky every single day to work with people with OCD. My patients are smart, driven, funny, caring, and creative. For me, having the opportunity to help these people live their best lives is nothing short of a privilege.

As children, we are learning from interactions with our parents who we are and how to fit into the world around us. After we leave home, we become our own parents as we continue to learn about ourselves and how to find our own place in life. And when we have families of our own, we are now parents both for our children and for ourselves, as we continue to understand more about who we are. I provide a warm, empathic and accepting environment where you can explore your current life challenges, as well as address past issues that impact your everyday life.

Ralph Waldo Emerson said "What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us." I believe that individuals are more than just their experiences. I view psychotherapy as a place in which you can explore your life experiences as well as gain greater insight into your character "what lies within." I believe that growth occurs when people believe that they can make things different in their own lives. My role as a therapist is to support and encourage you as you take steps toward making changes in your life.
