The primary focus of my work is with adults, adolescents, and their families as they work to navigate difficult stages in their lives. Much of my professional work is with adolescents and their families. In my work with teens, I employ a mix of humor, authenticity, and curiosity about their struggles. From a stance of openness and compassion, I work to help teens explore their individual difficulties, confront potentially self sabotaging patterns, and develop coping strategies that are unique to their needs. I have helped many teens move beyond their pain and find healthier, freer, more fulfilling lives.
Another area of focus is to provide support for those struggling with substance abuse. My goal is to provide a safe, confidential space to help in the recovery process. I provide compassionate and genuine counseling to work through shame and find a path to a life free from chemical dependence.
