I strongly believe we are all capable of change and work with people who want to make positive change in their lives but are unsure about where to start. Therapy sessions help those dealing with depression, anxiety, divorce, chronic illness, relationship issues, grief/loss to improve coping skills, to take better care of themselves, and to reduce stress. I am a clinical social worker with over 25 yrs. experience doing therapy with adults, couples and groups. My office is conveniently located near public transportation and street parking is available.
My specialty is working with people who are trying to cope with a life transition- relocation, divorce, grief/loss, relationship changes, chronic illness, underemployment, loss of job or any life change that causes stress and emotional turmoil. I help them make the changes they can and accept what they can't change.
I am a compassionate therapist who cares deeply about her clients. Therapy is a partnership and we must work together in order for you to make the changes that you desire. You are not alone, I'll be there to lean on and to give you the tools to be successful.

In this 6 week session, we will identify practical ways to help you get through this difficult time. Stress reduction techniques, ways to take care of yourself, and health/ wellness concerns in addition to the other concerns will be addressed.The group will look at loss in the context of divorce and identify strategies to help you become more resilient. The group will help you look forward so you can begin planning the life you want.
