Do you sometimes feel immobile, disconnected, stuck in painful patterns that make it impossible to move forward in your life? Are you overwhelmed by the feelings inside you and the environment around you? I work with individuals challenged by the consequences of trauma. Sometimes it can be difficult to even understand how those moments are effecting you now. My focus is to first work on your current symtpoms, the anxiety and depression and other challenges that make it hard to function, and then work towards releasing the hold those past experiences have over your life.
I use research-based trauma forward therapies such as, IFS or parts work, somatic therapies along with elements of DBT, ACT as well as relational, strength-based techniques. Together, we will create a safe and supportive environment to help you work through your toughest challenges to make the changes you see for yourself. I welcome diversity of all kinds.
Our world is rapidly changing, almost daily. I'm here to help guide you to understanding yourself and what you value in life and how to reach those goals. Don't belive that you are stuck and there is no way out. I assist my clients with finding their way through; the way that fits them and their hopes and dreams for their lives. You can find that way too.
