In my work with clients, I draw on my Cognitive Behavioral training as well as my work in positive psychology. I help people to approach their current difficulties in a structured and collaborative manner, encouraging them to discover and marshal the best of who they are. Populations served include those with depression, anxiety, stress management, or relationship issues. Coping with acute and chronic illness is an area of particular interest. I also work with people who are feeling stuck or overwhelmed in either their personal or professional lives with the goal of not just getting by, but flourishing.
As an Instructor in the University of Pennsylvania's Master of Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) program, I have the opportunity to stay up to date with new ideas in the field. This helps me to tailor my work with clients by generating novel ways to approach challenges.
