I have been in practice for over 30 years and developed an expertise in the treatment of depression and anxiety. My training is in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy, specifically Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and my goal is to work with you to develop skills and strategies to overcome unproductive ways of reacting to life's challenges. I have also worked in a physical rehabilitation setting for many years, where I have focused on neuropsychological assessment and psychological treatment of cognitive and emotional disorders arising from stroke, brain injury and other neurological problems.

I am experienced and eager to help individuals and couples who want to make positive changes in their lives or cope with life stressors more effectively by use of cognitive-behavioral and problem-solving therapy and positive psychology. Therapy is intended to be goal-oriented and short-term. Couples are guided to regain intimate and personal connections they once had that may have been compromised by life stressors, infidelity, chronic or acute illness, parenting, age, sexual dysfunction, or simply growing apart. I aim to help people decrease distress, improve communication and problem solving, increase intimacy, and improve quality of life.

Before you can even grab your morning coffee, the intrusive thoughts have already shown up. The “What if…?” questions feel endless, pulling you into mental loops you never wanted to enter. Compulsions (mental or physical) start stacking up as your day goes on. You see other people living their lives with ease and connection, and you want that too. And you deserve relief. I’m an OCD and anxiety specialist who works with teens and adults to break free from the cycle of doubt, fear, and compulsions (reassurance seeking, mental checking, avoidance, physical rituals, and everything in between!).

Many of us find ourselves without a space to process our lives, relationships, as well as the weight of a world and systems that are unjust and unsafe. If you are seeking care that holds space for humanity while also challenging oppressive beliefs and systems, appreciates experience over diagnosis, and supports creativity and difference; I would be honored to collaborate with you. Let's explore opportunities to build meaning and connection, navigate experiences of stress and complex emotions, and overcome personal and environmental barriers.

Something brought you here — and if I had to guess, it wasn't easy to admit you needed support. Maybe it's anxiety that's been quietly running the show. Maybe it's a pattern with substances you're not sure how to talk about. Maybe you're a woman who's spent so long holding everything together that you've lost track of what you actually need. Whatever it is, I want you to know: you don't have to have it figured out before we talk. I work with adults across Pennsylvania via telehealth — people navigating real, complicated lives — and I'd love to be part of your next chapter.

Whether you're navigating relationship difficulties, anxiety, burnout, life transitions, or low self-esteem, therapy can provide a space to slow down, gain clarity, and reconnect with yourself. Many of my clients have spent so long caring for others or trying to "hold it all together" that they've lost touch with who they are. Over time, this can leave you feeling disconnected from yourself, your relationships and the life you want. Together, we'll explore your story with curiosity and compassion, helping you build insight, self-acceptance, and healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

UPDATE 8/31/26: New Clients Welcome! Please message me to set up a phone consultation.
Living with a chronic illness, loving someone who does, or navigating the aftermath of medical trauma can leave you feeling isolated, misunderstood, and disconnected. I know this not just as a therapist—but as someone who has lived it. Born with a congenital heart condition (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy), I’ve endured extensive testing, open-heart surgery, and the emotional toll that comes with it. I understand the fear of a body that feels unfamiliar, the exhaustion of self-advocacy, and the grief of adjusting to a life you didn’t plan for.

Do you ever feel like your mind won’t turn off? Constantly replaying conversations, worrying about what others think, or juggling endless to-do lists? Maybe you say “yes” when you want to say “no,” or feel restless no matter how much you get done. It’s exhausting to carry that much in your head and body. In therapy, you don’t have to hold it all together. I offer a warm, compassionate space to slow down, feel understood, and begin untangling the patterns that keep you stuck.

I have worked with individuals, couples and families in a wide variety of settings for over 25 years. During this time, I have developed a number of particular specialties, including adolescents and families, boys and men, and addiction treatment. Typically, I offer a 3-session initial evaluation, at the end of which I make treatment recommendations. If the recommendation is to continue treatment in my practice, I can work in a variety of modes - individual, couples and family - and emphasize strategies that mobilize relationships and problem solving.
