I am dedicated to helping each individual, couple or family find the keys to a happier and more satisfying life. To this end, I make a special effort to understand each person's dilemmas and what it would take to help them increase their experiences of joy and pleasure in their personal lives, one moment at a time. As the sources of pain emerge in therapy, I include each person's needs in the search for steps forward. My practice includes many individuals and couples who suffer from depression, anxiety, relationship distress, sexual dissatisfaction and the effects of past trauma.
My specialties include communication and conflict resolution, especially to increase emotional and sexual intimacy. Many people suffer from anxiety or confusion regarding their sexual lives. They often need more knowledge, but most need better ways to increase comfort in communicating their needs and wants to a partner or partners.
I work with individuals and families going through transitions regarding coming out, gender identity and leading a fully integrated life. My empathy extends to each person in their search for personal fulfillment and harmony. I am available to collaborate with a team of medical and health professionals as needed.
