Although most of my experience has been with teens and young adults, I am open to meeting with clients of all ages and genders. Before becoming a social worker, I was a high school teacher for 23 years and worked as a social worker in a therapeutic school. I am particularly interested in supporting adoptees, sexual assault survivors, young people with learning differences, and LGBTQ+ youth as they heal from loss or trauma, discover their strengths, and construct an authentic identity. I have also run support groups for adoptees, trans/nonbinary teens, and parents of TGN teens.
