I believe that when grievers tell their stories, they are often struggling to make sense of the event. Grievers, telling and retelling their stories, are an integral part of the grieving process. I developed an approach for the grief journey, that removes the traditional stages and timeframes and banishes the word closure. The approach is more about weaving your loss into your life and honoring your journey instead of treating it like a problem to be solved. I have found that, "the only cure for grief, is to grieve."

As a practitioner, I specialize in helping clients who are seeking a deeper connection with their souls. My clients are often individuals who are aware of their life experiences and traumas, yet they feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, depression, and shame. I primarily work with creative individuals who may struggle with self-doubt, lack of motivation, and feelings of guilt or isolation. I assist these clients in understanding themselves and their unconscious layers in a new way. My approach is safe, supportive, trauma-informed, and spiritually integrative, and clients report feeling seen and heard.

You probably already know at least some of what you wish were different in your life. Often the things we wish were different we have wanted to change for months, years, or even decades. Counseling often has a balanced focus on helping you learn how to cope with present day symptoms while at times looking back to become free from old patterns of responding. Those old patterns that at one time may have been necessary in order to survive, now may be the very thing limiting your ability to thrive and realize your potential. My ideal client would be someone that is willing to be present in treatment and open to the process of understanding themselves. I am open to treating anyone with a willingness to participate and collaborate with me as I view treatment as a journey of working together rather than me solely guiding treatment. I would want clients to be willing to learn skills and apply them in order to thrive in their lives rather than survive.
