A psychologist for over 20 years, I work primarily with adults and adolescents in individual therapy. In my practice, I see clients with a broad range of issues, including depression, anxiety, panic disorder, life transitions, relationship issues, divorce, under-achievement, low self-esteem, career and school issues. My goal is to help individuals self-actualize and flourish in our rapidly changing world. My full time practice allows me flexibility in scheduling clients. Evening appointments are often available.
I rely most strongly on a combination of insight-oriented and cognitive therapy. I am an active therapist, who listens but also provides specific feedback and recommendations. I believe that psychotherapy can help people make significant changes in their lives.
During my career as a psychologist I have had the worked in a wide range of settings, including community mental health, emergency mental health, a specialty clinic for teenagers and an executive assessment organization. This range of experience has enabled me to bring a broad perspective to my therapy practice.
