Welcome—I’m glad you’re here. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I understand how overwhelming challenges such as anxiety, substance use, and relationship concerns can feel. I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space for individuals, couples, and veterans (ages 18+) to explore these struggles and begin meaningful change. In our work together, we’ll explore the underlying roots of what you’re experiencing, moving at a pace that feels safe and manageable. My goal is to help you reconnect with a sense of confidence, clarity, and control in your life. It’s an honor to walk alongside you in this process, and I’m here to support you.

Nobody gets through life without difficult experiences. Some experiences, like living through childhood neglect, abuse, or family dysfunction, make everyday stressors even more difficult. Difficult childhood experiences don’t just “go away” once we become adults. They can impact every aspect of adult life.

I define myself as an IFS-informed EMDR therapist. I believe that therapy's main goal is to help us come to terms with our past and move on with our lives. What helped us adapt to our environment before, may be maladaptive now. We may experience stressful situations, and these situations may negatively impact the way we see ourselves, the way that we see others, the way that we see the world, and the way that we see our future. The good news is that with courage, curiosity, and introspection, we can change even the most deep-seated negative beliefs about ourselves and others; we can become aware of, and change the way we react.

I view therapy as the process of developing a better understanding of thoughts, emotions and patterns. I utilize a person-centered therapy approach to create a warm, non-judgmental atmosphere where you can feel comfortable and safe. Through the journey of self-discovery, your needs and wants from the therapy process may change. This is why I pull from different evidence-based therapy approaches to best fit with your needs at the time. I have experience working with a variety of mental health concerns. However, no two people are the same. Together we will work towards your unique goals utilizing the individual strengths you bring.

Hi there, my name is Jamie Cacchione and I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I specialize in working with individuals 18 and older. I have experience working with first responders, veterans, individuals with history of trauma, anxiety, depression, sleep disorders and more. I use a variety of approaches and modalities. I believe it is most important for us to get to know one another to determine what approach will be most effective. In the initial session, we will spend time getting to know each other, identifying what brings you to therapy, and determining what you would like to work towards.
