In therapy we will build upon your own inner strength and authentic self to process and heal pain or psychological injuries that may be getting in the way of living a healthy, integrated and fulfilling life. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process: we will work together to navigate and explore any problems or patterns in your life that may be contributing to the challenges that you face. I am not a therapist that will tell you what to do, but I will help you explore all the parts that make up YOU, including the parts of you that are resilient and know the way forward.
I provide trauma-informed counseling and have been trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy. I have experience working with individuals of all ages, including children, adolescents and adults. As a queer identifying therapist, I have an interest in and experience with the LGBTQIA+ community and specialize in gender affirming care.
Everyone has their own story, and sometimes these stories are filled with pain and leave parts of us scared or wounded. I am here to support you, without judgement, as you share your story, and learn, when you're ready, to embrace all the parts of you and start the journey towards not your perfect self, but your authentic self.
