Let's face it, families struggle & face challenges but there are times you feel your children & challenges are beyond what most would consider normal. You hear others talk about their experiences with their children & you know that it's never been like that for you. The issues they are having at school, with peers & at home are impacting your mental clarity, relationships & lust for life. You don't know who to ask for help; nor who to trust. It leaves you feeling angry, scared, resentful, & ultimately alone. You don't know if therapy can help, but you're willing to do whatever it takes.

My work centers on supporting individuals who feel disconnected from themselves and others, who feel overwhelmed or empty even when their lives appear to be functioning relatively well from an outside point of view. Existence is complicated, and suffering varies from person to person. However you term it - anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, etc. - your experiences are deeply personal and impactful. You deserve a safe space to explore the things you’ve kept inside for fear of being judged, misunderstood, or possibly have felt guilty about sharing because others seem to “have it worse.”

We live in a society where discussing mental health still comes with a stigma and I am here to make the transition into therapy as smooth as possible. Working in this field, I aim to provide all clients with an environment in which they feel they can be honest, vulnerable, and free to be themselves without judgment. My office is a space for clients to just be human; whether that be discussing the hard times of the day, the joy they’ve experienced since their last session or the traumas that have occurred overtime.

You’re so tired. And you’re tired of saying you’re tired. It’s so hard to turn your mind off from your worries and your endless to-do list. You’re overwhelmed, wondering when things will get easier. And you may even blame yourself for how hard things are. You provide so much care to others, but you get lost in the shuffle. Your temper flares easily. So much has changed in your life, and you wonder if you will feel like yourself again. Care work is incredibly hard and so often invisible, especially with the lack of systemic supports. Self-preservation in the midst of that is even harder.

I often hear, "But other people have it worse," in an attempt to downplay our struggles and make things feel more manageable. While this mindset may be helpful at times, it also minimizes the importance of our current situation and dismisses our feelings. Whatever you are facing, if it's important to you it's also important to me. As a clinician with experience in multiple therapeutic settings, I have treated panic disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I also have a special spot in my heart for grief and loss and have treated those struggling with prolonged grief.

I work with people of all ages, including children and adolescents and their families, adults and especially college age young adults. Life can be difficult, overwhelming and challenging no matter what age you are. Parents often need help with their child or adolescent who may be struggling in school, or at home with their families, or in social situations. People of all ages who are neurodivergent or on the austism spectrum (and their family members) may need guidance and support from a therapist.

I am currently accepting new clients for Neurofeedback only at this time, and have a waiting list for therapy clients....... Are you feeling overwhelmed, sad or anxious? Have you ever felt that you couldn’t share your story with anyone because you feel that they just couldn’t possibly understand or that they would somehow judge you? We all have a story, and often we have to just push it aside just to get through our day until one day we realize that our story has taken over and is now interfering with our daily life. I will work to help you find the right tools to rewrite your story while in a calming nonjudgmental space.

Life transitions can leave you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of yourself—even when they’re changes you wanted. Starting therapy is a big step, and choosing support during times of change is a powerful act of self-care. I provide a warm, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and validated. I work with adults navigating major life transitions, including career changes, becoming a parent, juggling the demands of parenthood, marriage, divorce, breakups, and family stress. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally drained, even if they appear high functioning on the outside.
