Therapy with me is about making space for life’s complexities, and helping you uncover your own strength and clarity within them. You may be emotionally disconnected, overwhelmed, or caught in patterns that don’t feel great but can be hard to shift. I get it. I specialize in helping people who are incredibly self-aware, but still find themselves spiraling, people-pleasing, or second-guessing every decision. Together, we’ll take an honest look at what’s been keeping you stuck or causing distress. We will work to soften the self-judgment, shift patterns that aren’t working, and build a narrative more grounded in self-trust.

I love working with people to understand their own patterns of thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and relationships. All of these patterns have a root cause, and have served you in some way at some time—even if they are now proving to be unhelpful or harmful. In our work together, we will come to better understand the problems you face, develop a plan to make a change, and then put that plan into action. I specialize in working with pre-teens, teens, and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, BPD, ADHD, patterns of difficulty regulating emotions, and pervasive isolation/interpersonal conflict.

By better understanding who you are and where you want to go, you can live a happier more fulfilling life. My approach is supportive and empathic but, above all, practical. While I believe an understanding of the past is essential, positive change occurs in the present. I work with individuals and couples who are interested in seeking a better understanding of themselves and each other and the skills involved to know oneself and communicate more effectively.

If you and your partner have reached a point where the distance between you feels bigger than the connection, you're not alone. Many couples wait a long time before reaching out, hoping things will improve on their own. Whether you're struggling with communication, intimacy, or recovering from a betrayal, my role is to help you understand what's happening beneath the conflict so you can begin creating a relationship that feels calmer, more connected, and more fulfilling.

What is causing the twirl in your stomach at 4AM? How do we get the racing thoughts to stop? Sometimes anxiety takes over to the point that your body hurts. Distractions are not working anymore; the pain is too great. If you stuff your bag with too many hurts the load will get too heavy. The twirls, sleepless nights, and body aches become overwhelming. We have to unpack the bag for you to be able to breathe again. In session we will find some old hurts that never healed as we hear your story. Together we will find the parts of you that you want to keep. Together we will work towards you recognizing yourself again.

There comes a time—sometimes slowly, sometimes all at once—when life as you’ve known it no longer fits. You may be navigating a shift in identity, relationships, motherhood, or midlife. Or you might be entering adulthood and trying to build a life that feels like your own. I work with adults in periods of transition: emerging adulthood, new parenthood, divorce, creative stagnation, career changes, and the complexities that arise at midlife. I also support families in transition, including those adjusting to parenthood, separation, or intergenerational wounds.

Hello there. So, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, seasoned coach, and a Level 3 Gottman Couples & Relationship therapist. I am also a former professional comedian, and a serious behavioral science nerd, and when I mix scientific theories, strategies and tools, 10 years of experience, and, a dash of humor, I've found this to be a powerfully effective, healing combo platter. Sliding Scale Available if needed.

You worry all the time about being judged by other people. You feel disconnected from your body and, at the same time, feel like it’s all you think about. You question what you say, how your body looks, if you’re doing things “right,” and there are so many times where your mind feels like it’s on a hamster wheel that you can’t stop. You feel on edge all day and sometimes even feel like you may be having a heart attack. You don’t feel like you fit in anywhere. You’ve been made fun of before for so many different parts of who you are. You’ve been called weird or have been misunderstood at work, in your family, and even in some of your dating relationships. You’ve struggled to find someone who feels like a good fit romantically, and you’re worried there’s something wrong with you. You want to feel more connected to yourself again…

If you find yourself feeling like the ground beneath your feet is about to crumble, you are not alone. I can offer a safe and nonjudgmental space where we can work together to find your balance. I believe that meaningful therapy should be based on a collaboration between client and therapist with the intention of helping one discover their most authentic self through exploration of inner resources and innate wisdom. My practice involves moving away from behavioral and interpersonal patterns that hinder self-compassion.

Currently have openings. You have been managing your life, taking care of everyone else, and showing up for everyone. But inside, you are carrying a quiet, heavy internal dialogue - a cycle of overthinking, anxiety, or coping patterns that leave you feeling deeply unhappy or disconnected. You have tried so hard to fix this on your own. Pushing through and staying busy works for a little while, but eventually, the burnout and the overwhelm return. You are worn out from pretending you have it all under control. You deserve peace and true happiness. Even strong women recognize that they new help!

Pain seeks our attention. Emotional distress manifests or "speaks" through physical distress. Adults living with physical or emotional pain can benefit from BODY-Centered psychotherapy. Dreamwork and expressive therapies can also be utilized to amplify awareness. Like dreams, body symptoms are dynamic conduits into the unconscious; likewise, they serve as messengers charged with waking us up and redirecting our energies back toward life. Clients become adept explorers, listeners & learners, moving with curiosity, toward rather than away from feeling, as they befriend and integrate disenfranchised parts of themselves.
