I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with extensive experience helping individuals and families through crisis, depression, anger, and traumatic experiences from sexual violence, war, sex trafficking and domestic violence. I am culturally sensitive to the issues of all family types- including LGBT families and offer individual, family & marital coaching, parenting education, court mandated anger management, and utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches in working with depressive disorders. For more than ten years I have successfully engaged in the practice of Social Work and believe that as wellness takes place individuals are able to rise to their full potential and engage life in meaningful ways.
In therapy, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,Behavior Modification, Solution Focused measures, mindfullnes and other techniques tailored to individual needs. Lola offers a supportive environment, where couples and individual are able to build communication skills,explore and create new paths of thinking and responding.

Group Work- Anger management/parenting
Having difficulty controlling anger ? Call today and let us help you channel anger in positive ways. At Lotus Psychotherapy we offer Anger management and parenting workshops. Court mandated individual are welcome. Our certificate of completion is accepted by all New York Courts. At the completion of this Anger Management program, a certificate is provided for court purposes. Groups last for 12 weeks. Please make child care arrangements prior to start of group. Children are not allowed in groups.
