I am a psychotherapist with over 20 years of clinical experience working with adults age 20 and older, and specializing in treating people over age 65. I trained at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy (ICP) in New York City, and worked there for 9 years before relocating my practice to East Hampton.
My clients come to me because they are struggling with anxiety and depression, which affects their relationships, self-esteem, and quality of life. Regardless of what is going on around them, they feel overwhelmed, scared, and alone.
In treatment, I listen with compassion and empathy, and provide a warm and safe environment, that allows for a comfortable dialogue with an interpersonal approach. My clients leave empowered, with a much improved awareness of their patterns, better coping skills, and a stronger sense of self.
