Misperceptions of others and ourselves cause much of the psychological pressures we face. I have 20+ years of experience working with various people with a multitude of afflictions, in both clinical and non-clinical settings. I have worked with a range of people from highly successful professionals to people who struggle in every sphere of their existence. I always work with the needs and potential of each individual foremost in my mind. All of my work is i informed with spirituality, empathy, co-creation, forgiveness, and self acceptance.
I work in an integrative way, combining psychodynamic principles in formulating treatment, but always working with supportive empathy and evidence-based cognitive behavioral interventions. Mindfulness and meditation are also a big part of my clinical approach, as I have seen the power of living in the present, mindfully.
True growth and behavioral change occurs in a supportive, non-judgemental environment. The relationship between the client, and the therapist is the instrument of change, and is co-created. I will learn as much from you as you will from me.
