I believe that it is a brave step to reach out for help and take action to change ones life. As a result, the selection of a therapist who is the best fit for you and your personality is an important choice. Over the years I have collaborated with patients to help them gain mastery over issues ranging from anxiety to addiction and many other issues as well. Younger and older patients of both genders and all sexual orientations have spent time in my office diligently working towards their goals.
When people enter psychotherapy they want to make changes and I take that striving very seriously. In this effort I feel it's vital to attune to the unique circumstances of each patient's life. No two peoples experience is the same. Therefore, this reality must be held while doing the work.
I do not charge for the first session because I believe that the initial meeting is simply to determine if a second session should be set and I think it is fair to allow that initial choice to be made without financial obligation.
