I am back in the office part-time! I am seasoned and approachable, with extensive training and experience. I've helped many live fuller, more rewarding lives. My training is psychodynamic in theory, but I am thoughtful and creative in tailoring my approach to each individual. While I believe that we are a product of all our previous experiences, I work largely in the here-and-now to create richer, more meaningful insights. I have worked wonders with many people who have found earlier therapies unhelpful. My little dog, Simba, is usually with us in the office; he's good at figuring out who wants to interact with him :)
I work well with anyone who is open to exploration. I am alsoa Certified Group Psychotherapist, specializing in groups that focus on interpersonal relations. I love seeing people transform through their work in group. I also train and supervise therapists at all levels of experience. I enjoy teaching people about what group can give them, so please ask!
I'll take time to make sure we're a good fit. I offer free 15 minute phone conversations before setting first appointments. I'm very clear about what to expect in therapy with me. Although I don't accept insurance, I can be flexible with fee in cases of financial need and can help figure out if your insurance will reimburse you for my services.

Groups
Interpersonal Group - 3 Month Process Group
I'm excited to be forming new intensive group experiences for people ranging ages 20's - 60's who want to learn how to better relate to others. We'll work largely in the here-and-now through gentle, but challenging, honest feedback, self-reflection, experimenting with new behaviors, and understanding that our histories don't need to define us. Though my groups are supportive, we work to challenge defenses and make internal changes as well as behavioral ones. Free consult to see if it's a good fit for you! Scheduled for Tuesday evenings, but if this one fills up, can add Wed/Thurs.
