You may even feel too anxious or depressed to know exactly what's missing, yet you're certain that something needs to change. Entering therapy is a reflection of courage and hope for a more satisfying life. My job is to help you sort through your thoughts and feelings and come up with a path that feels right for you.
Whether you are thinking about or in the process of making a life transition (personal or professional), I can help you navigate the practical and emotional issues that occur with these changes. I also have expertise working with eating/body issues and can help you slow-down/shift your thoughts and actions.
I have advanced training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, incorporating different treatment modalities as needed. My approach is warm, empathetic and insight oriented, balanced with a pragmatic focus on here/now issues that are interfering with your personal fulfillment. I will consider a sliding fee when finances and insurance benefits are limited.
