Therapy doesn’t work when clients feel talked down to, rushed, or misunderstood. Many teens and adults I work with have tried therapy before and felt it didn’t really fit. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas, I bring both clinical training and lived experience into the therapy room. This allows me to connect in a way that feels genuine, grounded, and practical—especially for teens and young adults who are skeptical of therapy or unsure where to start.
