I work with a diverse population of individuals, couples and families who are struggling with mental health issues. I've counseled individuals with anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder. I've worked closely with family members (mostly parents) of persons with serious mental illness and helped them to effectively engage and communicate with their loved ones. Counseling is hard work but I will be there with you to help you better understand yourself, your thoughts, and your behaviors and to use that knowledge to feel better and make the changes in your life that you want to make.

As a New Jersey–licensed psychologist, I primarily see individuals facing difficult situations at work, home, or with their health. My areas of particular interest include women’s issues, professional burnout, and stressful circumstances such as military deployment, loss of a loved one, or marital discord. The approach I utilize is deeply trauma-informed, grounded in an understanding of how significant past experiences shape our nervous system, personal identity, and sense of meaning over time. People who seek help navigating through various life transitions, emotional strain, and grief often benefit the most from my services.

At Composed Mind Therapy, we believe therapy shouldn’t feel like a chore. We bring warmth, honesty, and a touch of humor into the room, because some of the most meaningful breakthroughs happen when we can be real and occasionally laugh along the way. Using a grounded, no-BS blend of CBT, mindfulness, and straightforward talk therapy, we help you quiet the mental noise, break unhelpful patterns, and build a calmer, more composed mind that actually works for you, even on your most chaotic days.

If you’re carrying trauma, identity wounds, addiction, or relationship pain, and you’re tired of therapists smiling, nodding, and asking “How does that make you feel?”—you’re not alone. If that actually fixed anything, you wouldn’t still be searching for someone who gets it. I help you heal, not just cope. I work with people who feel stuck in the same cycles—blowing up, shutting down, or losing themselves in relationships—and want real, lasting change they can feel in daily life, not just in the therapy room.
