My goal is to empower you to make the changes necessary to improve the overall quality of life. My hope is to create healthier individuals, families, and communities through prevention, intervention, quality treatment, and recovery support. I have spent the last 10 years working at an internationally recognized company that has earned a reputation for excellence in the treatment of adults with substance use. I also help people struggling with depression, anxiety, anger, relationships, grief, and trauma.

I work with women seeking support with motherhood, infertility, pregnancy, postpartum depression and anxiety, pregnancy loss and birth trauma. I also work with individuals struggling with life transitions, anxiety, and depression.

I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with my Master's degree in Social Work and obtained my clinical license. I have been providing individual, couples and family therapy for 30 years. My areas of expertise include mood and anxiety disorders, grief, low self esteem, relationship problems, infertility and many other issues. I use a variety of treatment modalities tailored to meet the needs of the client. I also offer Equine Assisted Therapy. I have great admiration and compassion for my clients as I recognize the courage it takes to explore challenges in their lives and make changes within themselves.

I received my Masters Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. I am a licensed social worker, working towards a license in clinical social work. I have over seven years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults in school and outpatient settings providing individual and group therapy in addition to psychoeducational and social skills education. I believe that a strong and trusting therapist-client connection is the foundation of any meaningful therapeutic relationship. My approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, strengths-based and nonjudgmental.

I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist with15+ years of experience in creating a positive therapeutic synergy, in identifying strengths, and helping clients find solutions that work. My clients would describe me as caring, genuine and non-judgmental. Making a decision to get help with your current situation is an active step forward towards change and acceptance. I spend considerable time with my clients to arrive at a thorough understanding of their problems. Specialties: ADHD, loss, grief, anxiety, depression, illness (cancer), parenting issues, relationship issues, career transition, and low self-esteem struggles.

The most important, life-governing cubic foot of space rests on your shoulders and yet, at the same time, it is one of the most neglected spaces that exists. Our minds control our thoughts and behaviors and impact the quality of life we will experience. With the stresses and challenges placed upon us through everyday life, it is no wonder that from time to time each and every one of us come to conclude that we are less than all that we can be. I truly feel that this can be a temporary pitstop. Through thirty years of counseling, I have had the pleasure of working with a variety of individuals.

I consider myself to be a generalist who uses a psychodynamic approach to treat the underlying issues of a variety of presenting problems. I am frank, non-judgmental and caring, and I will provide you with psychological analysis and tools to assist you in gaining insight, expressing your feelings appropriately, improving the level of intimacy in your relationships, and becoming the best version of yourself. To this end, in addition to individual therapy, I also offer group therapy to increase social self-esteem, improve assertiveness, enhance the capacity for intimacy, and gain insight into how you are experienced by others.

I do not believe that therapy is a “one-size fits all” model and look forward to getting to know all of my clients on a very individualized basis while providing a holistic, eclectic, and person-centered approach that best supports the person in need.

Bonnie enjoys working with a wide range of clients. She works with all ages including children, adolescents, teens, young adults, adults, and elders. Bonnie strives to create a stress-free and positive environment in which her clients can feel comfortable and relaxed in order to share openly. It is her firm belief that an open and comfortable counseling environment helps to build a strong client/counselor relationship.

The HELP for Parents Network passionately serves the emotional needs of adults, children, couples and families, who are struggling to cope with the demands of their everyday life. Our mental health counseling services are tailored to the needs of the individual client or family. We meet people where they are and help them to reach their full potential, regardless of their challenges. We offer sessions in the office, online via video or chat and in some cases we can meet in your home. Our evaluations are not covered by insurance. We will be happy to provide you with a Superbill to present to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Accepting new clients! I believe that clients should feel comfortable, safe, and supported in the therapeutic relationship. I approach each person as an individual to determine what their needs are and best approaches to help them achieve their goals and provide tools and strategies they need to continue their journey. I utilize client-centered and strengths-based approaches along with other modalities including, but not limited to: cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy techniques (DBT), and mindfulness.

I am a Licensed Social Worker with a passion for decreasing the stigma surrounding mental health and promoting the health and well being of my clients. For my undergraduate degree, I moved from Central Jersey (Yes! It exists!) to South Jersey to attend Stockton University. I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work with a Minor in Behavioral Neuroscience from Stockton, and then moved on to attend graduate school in Philadelphia. I received my Master of Social Work Degree with a clinical concentration from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice in May of 2020.

At one point or another, life can get difficult and painful for everyone. I specialize in helping people navigate their way through the challenges we all face that can make things seem so overwhelming. I believe that the therapeutic process is a valuable tool that creates positive change in a client's life; from finding relief from depression, anxiety, and anger to developing coping skills and making life decisions. My approach to treatment is eclectic, allowing me to customize treatment for each client's unique needs and goals. My therapeutic style includes creativity, humor and support.

In her practice she uses a combined approach of Mindfulness and Holistic therapy, whereby clients find: 1.) greater compassion for self and others 2.) develop their self-esteem 3.) increase their awareness and acceptance of the here and now 4) and improve their communication style. She is committed to helping clients alleviate the anguish created by depression and anxiety through exploration of stress, anger, trauma, grief and loss, all in the service of building greater resiliency toward a more rewarding life.

Moira Magid, LPC, LMHC Moira Magid is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New Jersey who has been practicing since 2019. Moira has been working with adolescents, adults, and their families in a private school for Twice Exceptional students in New York City for the past 8 years. Moira began her work as a Psychosocial Teacher, spending time in the classroom with the students building deeper connections, helping students with crisis management, emotional regulation, behavior management and executive functioning skills.
