Fear tactics from therapists were proven ineffective decades ago. As your therapist, I provide a safe and inclusive space for growth, transformation and change, because it is your time, not mine.

Are you caught in a cycle of negative patterns, such as persistent arguments, ongoing worries, or a consistent feeling of sadness? Life’s natural ups and downs are to be expected, but it’s the recurring patterns that can make us feel trapped. As a licensed clinical psychologist, I have dedicated my career to guiding individuals beyond the feeling of being “stuck” and towards making deliberate, fulfilling life choices. Taking back the reins of your life is not just a possibility—it’s within your grasp.

How are alcohol or other drugs showing up in your life? Anxiety and depression can be contributing factors and/or consequences. Maybe you're questioning if you have a problem, or you are in early recovery and want support to maintain your sobriety. You might feel discouraged when you break promises to yourself to cut back or stop. Trying to hide your use from family and friends can be exhausting. Sometimes habits turn into patterns that are hard to break despite your best intentions. Unresolved trauma can make recovery challenging.

As John Lennon wrote "Life is what happens when we're busy making other plans". In addition to re-adjusting to life after the pandemic, the political landscape may also lead to feeling somewhat disconnected from family and friends. Many people continue to experience anxiety, depression and relationship issues as a result. Most of my clients had initial reservations about trying telehealth but, much like everything else lately, we’re resilient and go with the flow. The benefits of telehealth are that you don’t have to travel, scheduling is much easier and you can be seen wherever you have internet (must be in NJ during session).

Finding the right therapist is truly about finding the right connection. I believe therapy should be a space where you never have to mask or explain away your identity. You are a whole person, and your path to healing should honor your full lived lived experience. My approach is flexible and collaborative, moving away from "one-size-fits-all" solutions to tailor our work to your specific needs. I’m here to walk alongside you, honoring your unique story and helping you build a life that feels authentic and empowering.
