A personal therapy experience is about creating a practice of getting connected to ourselves by increasing self-awareness of our mind, body and brain, and learning healthy, adaptive skills to experience a fulfilling life. As a child we develop adaptive methods to navigate life that in adult life become maladaptive and cause suffering. My current focus is working with adults assisting them in experiencing relief related to past traumas and current life events. Through the use of various therapies and exploration of the mind, brain and body's response to triggers, we collaboratively work to facilitate relief.
Areas of specialty include trauma, anxiety and depression. Also, relationships and family systems, parenting, developmental life transitions, narcissism and codependence/enabling, marital conflict and infidelity.
