As a Professional counselor, I have 17 years of experience working in an array of mental health settings. I am a nationally certified counselor and an approved clinical supervisor. I received my PhD in counseling from a CACREP accredited counseling program at Barry University. I am a former ballet dancer with 14 years of dance training. My passion for dance has led me to specialize in providing counseling to dancers.

I provide counseling that is cognitively-based, direct, yet non-judgmental and down-to-earth. I believe humor is an important component of the therapeutic process and I use it often, while being sensitive to my clients' concerns.
