As a dedicated, caring, experienced psychologist, I successfully treated children, adolescents, families and adults, using a cognitive-behavioral approach, for over 25 years. I am an in-network for most insurance companies (Aetna, United, Cigna, Blue-Cross, Magellan, Value Options, Medicare and others). Through therapy, I have helped patients make positive changes, overcome their psychological difficulties, improve family and marital relationships, and improve child and teen adjustment. I was the director of a large psychological practice, was on the professional staff of Hackettstown Hospital, and was a school psychologist.

I received my Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Montclair State University and my Post Masters from Caldwell University. Prior to that, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in Women's Studies from Kean University. I have been working in the field since 2010 working with a wide variety of clients, cases and therapeutic approaches. I have experience both in private practice as a therapist as well as mental health services as a counselor. My goal is and has always been to encourage overall growth for all those that I work with. I am dedicated to positive outcomes within a therapeutic process.

Our team of talented and experienced therapists customize treatment plans based each client's needs. Our newly decorated office provides a welcoming and comfortable environment. We use Virtual Reality (VR), yoga, play therapy, and mindfulness techniques to enhance treatments. We measure our results to help our clients get the most out of each session. My focus is to provide services for those who are struggling with conflicted relationships, anxiety, depression, anger management, parenting and communication issues. I also help clients to deal with life transitions and life stressors by helping them organize their thoughts and feelings to be more effective. Are you feeling anxious and out of control when you think about your child? Do you have questions about relationships or parenting? I have a background in both development and psychotherapy. I teach parents about development and help them learn what is "getting in the way" of parenting the way they want to. I also help couples "get on the same page" with parenting. Children come here to enhance development, learn social skills and have good self esteem. Children with developmental, behavioral and sensory concerns find a safe place to grow and explore. Parent Coaching is also available.

The Parsippany Counseling Center offers neurofeedback therapy and support services to address a number of issues for adults, children, adolescents and their families. Neurofeedback training, or neurotherapy, helps you to train your brain for more optimal functioning. We specialize in ADHD and the many conditions that often accompany it; anxiety, depression, OCD, sleep disorders and issues of executive dysfunction.
