Are you ready? I am here to help you try something different and make a change. I am a Clinical Psychologist working with children, adolescents and adults coping with depression, anxiety, behavioral difficulties, relationship troubles and other difficulties. I earned my doctorate from St. John's University and BA from NYU. I interned at Bellevue Hospital/NYU Child Study Center and ran a program at NY-Presbyterian Hospital. I understand how difficult it is to make the decision to begin therapy and find a good fit with someone with whom you can feel comfortable.
My style is eclectic and pragmatic in that I integrate interpersonal, systemic and cognitive-behavioral approaches. I work with individuals and families in a collaborative way and also partner with other professionals, such as school personnel, psychiatrists, and other disciplines to create a cohesive approach to achieve change.
I also provide Cogmed Working Memory Training services for children through adults to improve attention, concentration and working memory difficulties that can often interfere with school and work performance. Works well with those who have ADHD and learning disabilities. Cogmed has extensive scientific research to support its efficacy with different groups.
