My job is to make therapy a positive experience for my clients. I love working with adults with anxiety and depression and relationship issues. I also have a passion for working with kids and teenagers with anxiety and social phobia's and have experience working with children and adults with autism and ADHD. Common goals with my clients are building self confidence, accessing resources, focusing on healthy coping strategies and increasing self-care. My clients come from places of wanting a supportive sounding board, to wanting to take active steps in changing aspects of their current situations and make active changes towards goals.

My goal is to provide a safe space where clients can explore these thought and relational patterns. Additionally, I am an allied therapist with experience supporting the LGBTIA+ community, as well as individuals and couples from all races, ethnicities, cultures, and ages.

Together we can create a narrative of your truth that is empowering, positive and enlightening. I have an approach that is sex positive, empowering and open minded. I look from a lens of intersectionality, which recognizes that a person’s race, nationality, religion, gender identity, class, sexual orientation and disability may be informing each other often creating a complex convergence of oppression.

Robert takes the that approach that all individuals and family systems are unique and should create a “space” that encompasses all of the salient components in their lives. Life has peaks and valleys and there is no one size fits all approach to therapy. Creating a safe, respectful therapeutic environment is his goal. Hi, I'm Shonda R. I have experience in counseling individuals, groups, families, and couples. As a BIPOC Therapist, I strive to provide a decolonizing, holistic and culturally sensitive space in which an individual can find healing. I have significant experience working with individuals that have experienced family trauma and issues related to family of origin which are often impacted by Colonialism, Imperialism, and forced migration.
