Maybe your job exposes you to daily risk and tragedy and you're feeling the weight of it. Either way, you probably struggle to manage emotions, anxiety, loneliness, grief. All my clients deal with these kinds of things. It’s no coincidence they've also usually dealt with abuse, family dysfunction or trauma. Many have PTSD, C-PTSD or dissociative disorder.
None of this means you’re "weak," “bad" or "broken." In fact, your body and psyche are showing a certain kind of strength. They're working overtime to handle painful wounds and situations. Just walking into my office takes courage and trust. I take that fact seriously. And I work to help you heal, and to see the strength and beauty within yourself.
