I focus on couple/relationship healing. I applaud this step you are taking of looking into improving your relationship with your partner------whatever the issue is that you are facing. Whether you're feeling stuck in a persistent pattern, in a relationship where you are struggling to find connection again, or you are moving through a transition; working with a caring, objective professional can help you find the outcome you desire. I regard client work as a journey toward healing in which the client has invited me to join them. I see my job as helping you achieve your goals by removing obstacles and moving to peace and balance.
I am open and curious in meeting my clients, learning their stories, and engaging fully with all they bring to session (including those behaviors and feelings they don't like and are eager to change.I don't have a standard therapy recipe but tailor my approach to fit each client uniquely.
I enjoy working with individuals and families, although I particularly enjoy working with couples. In couple work I use a model called IFIO which can move couples from a negative reactive pattern toward a warm, engaged, and supportive intimacy. Less conflict and more US.

For couple therapy I use a treatment model called Intimacy From the Inside Out which looks for behavior patterns that show up in each partner during conflict. IFIO validates each partner's behavior but at the same time looks for underlying issues that might drive the behavior. it does this all without blaming anyone. The path forward in couple therapy involves finding new options for responses.
