I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice for the past 15 years. I provide individual, family and marriage therapy addressing a wide variety of issues. I approach mental health issues from a developmental and family systems perspective taking into account the life stage and family situation that individuals come from. My specialty areas include adolescent treatment, marital therapy, divorce and family issues, adoption and substance abuse. I work closely with schools, doctors, and other outside systems that impact the mental health of the individual or family system.
My goal in treatment is to empower people to make better decisions for themselves, learning how turn past problems and difficulties into positive learning and growth experiences.
I take all major insurances including Medicaid and will work with clients on a sliding fee basis if needed.
