I have provided therapy for all stages of addiction and recovery, in addition to working with those of different age groups and populations. I have worked in a variety of settings with a wide knowledge base in recovery resources.

I specialize in working with women in the transition to parenthood who may need help adjusting to new roles and demands. Dr. MiNa Chung is a licensed clinical psychologist in Providence, RI with extensive experience working with couples and adults across the lifespan. Her areas of specialization include complex trauma, relationship and attachment issues, men's health and wellness, parenting, and ketamine assisted psychotherapy. Dr. Chung has a keen understanding of the unique challenges and struggles of her patients, and tailors her integrative treatment approaches to meet the needs of each individual or couple.

As a Licensed Mental Health Clinician, Grace has clinical experience ranging from providing direct care in a psychiatric children’s hospital, and working directly with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Grace also has experience in community-based services facilitating family therapy and parenting groups. She prefers to work with a wide array of clients whether it be age or clinical need.

Most of my clients come to me with initial concerns of anxiety, depression and relationship turmoil. But at the core, the issues so often relate to the client's negative self-esteem, guilt and a persistent sense of not living up to one's potential. What I establish in the very first session is that here, within the safety of our therapeutic relationship, the client will find the strength to explore these negative feelings. She has 23 years of extensive experience working with children and adults seeking help with behavioral health, child development, and adjustments with life transitions including coping with new diagnoses, divorce, trauma/abuse, Covid related adjustments (such as grief and trauma) depression, and anxiety. Amy completed her Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages from Boston College and her Masters in Social Work from Rhode Island College.

With more than 15 years of experience working with young adults as they transition from adolescence to adulthood, I enjoy working collaboratively with individuals who face issues of Identity, self-esteem, educational and career pressures and interpersonal challenges. In addition to young adults, I have deep experience with adult caregivers of the aging and disabled. At any stage of life anxiety and depression can arise and interfere with one's ability to reach personal and professional goals.

My areas of specialization and interest include: women's health, depression, anxiety, stress management, and working with LGBTQIA-identified individuals and family members. In my work as a therapist, I focus on understanding early experiences and how psychological well-being can be fostered through relationships.
