I am a licensed clinical psychologist experienced working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples with a range of emotional and relational issues including mood disorders, grief, loss, anxiety, trauma, poor self-esteem, school difficulties, relationship problems, and adjustment to significant life changes. I provide competent, caring, professional services in a safe and respectful therapeutic environment. I work collaboratively with individuals to help them achieve and maintain optimal mental health. I have worked in various settings providing crisis intervention as well as short- and long-term psychotherapy. My treatment approach is flexible and is tailored to what works best for each individual.
I obtained my clinical training from Suffolk University (Doctorate in Clinical-Developmental Psychology, 2005); Tufts University (Master’s in Applied Child Development, 1996); Harvard Medical School (Pre-doctoral Internship, 2002-2004); Brown University (Post-doctoral research associate in Community Health, 2005-2008) ; and Plaza Psychology and Psychiatry, Inc. (Psychologist 2005-2010).
My practice is conveniently located on the East Side of Providence (free parking on-site and easily accessible by public transportation.) I offer flexible appointments to accommodate your schedule.
