It can be difficult to find time in your busy schedule with work and kids, challenging finding a therapist who is a good fit, or facing the fear of addressing things you've avoided. I have limited daytime availability for new therapy clients, and a waitlist for testing. I work mostly with teens and young adults with trauma who would like a safe space to process life's inevitable dark moments, to know and love themselves better, or just to shake out any feelings of stuckness. I love working with those who have never been to therapy before or may feel some resistance to the idea of therapy. In the interest of trauma-informed work, I do not force my clients to tell me anything they do not feel safe discussing, and I'm happy to take those who want to move at their own pace with some guidance.

Are you afraid to take chances with people, in your career, and in your personal development? I help people to stop judging themselves by how they think they fail to measure up. We'll free you from the baggage you've been carrying around and help you live in alignment with your values.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in working with adults and adolescents who are struggling with depression, anxiety, and relationship problems. I believe strongly in a psychodynamic therapy approach, which involves helping patients to recognize and change certain behaviors, patterns, and modes of communication that interfere with their ability to find fulfillment and achieve their goals. By creating a warm, caring environment where honest conversations and discoveries can take place, I help patients find relief from painful emotions and foster greater self-awareness and understanding of others.

I truly feel that anyone can benefit from therapeutic training and guidance. Personally, I have always seen therapy to be more of a intense joint partnership focused on a client's personal achievement, exploration of their untapped potential and opportunities and utilizing their strengths to balance them out.
Therapy should be to the mind what diet and exercise is to the body. Solid, result-focused training that builds upon an individual's strengths to provide them with the tools necessary to not only face the challenges of their life, but also to explore the rich landscape they have WITHIN.

How uncomfortable do you have to be to make a change? Sometimes we know we need to make changes, but aren't sure how to, when, or even what needs to change. Sometimes we need an empathetic ear to hear our stories to help us make sense of what we have going on in our lives. Whether it is career challenges, family or relationship issues, coming out a bit later in life, or the existential questions that have your mind racing, therapy can help dial down the noise so that you can hear yourself.
