I believe in developing positive, trusting, and productive counseling relationships with my clients, as they strive to reach their personal goals. Working together with individuals and families, I assist clients by identifying personal and community resources that will assist clients in obtaining optimal wellness. I welcome and offer collaboration with primary physicians, school personnel, and other care providers in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of the unique needs of each individual.

Prior to obtaining my license to counsel, I have worked for 17 years as the Director of an inner-city childcare center. I am a full-time substance abuse counselor by day and work private practice as a part time endeavor. I started working with children as a teacher and switched to mental health because my love was always helping people with making positive changes in their lives.
