It’s 7am. You have only slept three hours, thoughts bouncing in your mind and a feeling of dread in your stomach. Or maybe your legs feel like cement, as though you’re walking through mud each day in a fog. Or maybe you simply feel spread thin, drained, too much happening all at once and the wave of it is making it hard to swim. My mission is to create a collaborative and healing space for you, one that allows you to learn skills that support your therapeutic goals - and helps you ride the waves that life throws your way.

You’ve been through more than most people know and your body carries stories that were ignored or dismissed. Finding places where your experiences with medical trauma or abuse are honored without question and where your queer identity feels completely seen have been challenging. You’re craving steadiness in your nervous system, trust in your own voice, and a path forward that feels possible. Traditional talk therapy may not have been effective, and you're looking to explore deeper body/brain based work like EMDR or Brainspotting. You’re looking to feel wholeness, and you deserve support that meets you there.

Hi, I'm Bailey! I've been in the social work field for over 15 years, and I am a co-founder of Mountain View Therapy. Christina Peterson and I created this virtual group practice based in the principles of Narrative Therapy. We believe that meaning-making through stories shapes lives, relationships and communities. Our practice hopes to use this knowledge to help the people we serve uncover the stories that support their preferred lives. Although I am not currently accepting new clients myself, we have recently expanded and several of our clinicians have immediate availability!

You’re the one people count on. The capable one. The strong one. But under the surface, you’re tired. Your brain won’t slow down. Your body always feels “on.” You’re anxious, reactive, emotionally overloaded, and unsure how to turn it off. You’ve tried the tools, read the books, done the work and you’re still stuck in the same patterns. I work with millennial women who are burnt out from holding it all, tired of doing life the way they were taught, and ready to figure out what actually works for them. You don’t need to be fixed. You need space to feel, reset, and come back to yourself.

You may be feeling anxious, unsteady, or unsure how to move forward. You might be in the midst of a transition, questioning aspects of your identity or relationships, or carrying something from the past that’s hard to name but still felt. You may be a caregiver navigating the emotional complexities of early parenting, or concerned about your child’s emotional or social world. Or you may simply be seeking a space that allows you to slow down, reflect, and feel more connected to yourself. Whether you’re looking for insight, steadier ground, or room to untangle what feels complicated, therapy can offer a thoughtful place to begin.

Response-Ability. My goal is to help you act with integrity, increasing the ability-to-Respond via chosen behaviors as opposed to Reaction. Pattern change requires practice & compassion as well as honesty, courage, support & new skills. My experience lends itself to those touched by abandonment, trauma & addiction - be it those addressing addictions themselves, or those affected by another's. I’m also here to support life cycle changes: parenting, care-giving, grief, new edges. There is no 'fixing', but dismantling a myth of being broken. Our greatest challenges are unsprouted strengths. Our task is to us usher adaptive growth.
