The Psychology Practice is an independently run niche boutique practice located in NWI & Chicago prioritizing quality of care. I provide depth (psychodynamic) therapy known to have lasting beneficial effects beyond a short-term ‘fix’. I am able to provide such niche treatment due to specific training via multiple formats which extends beyond my doctorate-level education. When indicated, other modalities of treatment includes: Mindfulness, CBT, DBT, ACT, EFT, client-centered, humanism & transpersonal psychology. I aim to provide a safe, warm & nurturing environment where growth can occur.
Many of the patients I work with are young adults (of all genders, ages 18-40) and woman of all ages; Some of whom are in therapy for the first time and others who have tried other treatment approaches, but are looking for something that might provide more lasting benefits beyond the time the treatment completes, as has been their previous experience.
Through the process of therapy, one begins to know oneself more deeply as insight begins to take shape, narrative, and meaning. Split off parts of the self and experience begin to find a home within oneself, leading to a fuller more expansive way of living and experiencing oneself and the world.
