Kyle T. Ganson, LICSW, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Kittery
I believe that building a therapeutic relationship with compassion, empathy, and respect is the most important aspect of therapy and helping clients improve their lives. I use a strengths-based and client-centered approach to therapy and work to create a safe and supportive place that fosters resilience and vulnerability for each client. I have worked with adolescents, adults, and families in the areas of eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and boy's/men's issues, trauma/PTSD, and life transitions.
I work from a collaborative and integrative framework of different knowledge bases and techniques, including psychodynamic, CBT, solution focused, art and expressive therapies, among others. I am careful not to subscribe to one approach and I work closely with each client to create specific goals that fulfill their individual needs.
If you're looking to find a supportive, creative, safe, and positive environment to develop yourself and improve your life, I would be happy to speak with you about how we can work together. Call or email me today.
