We treat treatment-resistant depression by thoughtfully incorporating ketamine-based care when appropriate, including IV ketamine, nasal spray ketamine, and Spravato (esketamine), always as part of comprehensive psychiatric treatment. Treatment is provided in a private room and delivered by Dr. Dull or a dual-trained medical and psychiatric nurse practitioner, who will be in the room for the entire session. This means care is delivered live and in person, not by video or remote monitoring. So, regardless of who is in the room, a medical doctor is always present and supervising your care.
Ketamine treatment is extremely effective to treat stubborn depression and, independently, thoughts of suicide. I realize there are claims it is effective for other diseases and problems, but the scientific data do not yet conclusively support them. You may find it helpful for other conditions, but I feel ethically it is unfair to promise you this.
