I was raised in Peoria, Illinois, where I developed an early curiosity for science. My education started with pre-med and biophysics at Johns Hopkins, followed by research at Yale and graduate studies at Harvard. I graduated with an M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, followed interestingly by two residencies at the Johns Hopkins Hospital: one in Pathology and one in Psychiatry. In my years, I have learned that Psychiatry is my true calling and I love what I do. I am excited to be a psychiatrist here at Boca Raton Psychiatry and help individuals like you on their journey to better mental health.
I have particular expertise in Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety and Panic Disorder, ADHD and women’s mental health. I accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, United Healthcare and Medicare. Most individuals pay a very minimal or no copay for my services. We also offer Spravato (esketamine) treatment and TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation).
