Zara Colon is a board-certified physician assistant with a diverse background. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from University of Maryland University College, she then pursued a master’s degree in Medical Science Physician Assistant at Mercer University, Georgia. Her upbringing was in a bi-cultural environment both in Japan and USA, receiving both formal education. Moving around during childhood had its moments, but her background helped her dive into many diverse cultural understandings by living and/or having ties in a few different regions.
She is dedicated to improving outcomes and forming therapeutic alliances with her patients. She will provide guidance, education, and evidence-based treatment plans to help empower patients to find their path towards inner peace, healing, and ultimately getting back on track– aligning with passion, purpose and self-fulfillment.
Outside her professional life, Zara enjoys outdoor activities with her loved ones and pet morkie Cinnamon, loves cooking healthy/ diverse cuisines, and is always upskilling to achieve personal goals and to take on new challenges!
